Victorian Action Plan to Prevent Oral Disease 2020-2030
Dental Health Services Victoria is committed to improving the oral health of Victorians. A healthy mouth enables people to eat, speak and socialise without pain, discomfort or embarrassment. This plan, released by the Victorian Department of Health, sets out a vision to achieve good oral health for all Victorians by 2030, with a focus on reducing the gap in oral health for people who are at higher risk of oral disease.
This vison of good oral health for all Victorians will be achieved through four action areas:
- Priority 1: Improve the oral health of children
- Priority 2: Promote healthy environments
- Priority 3: Improve oral health literacy
- Priority 4: Improve oral health promotion, screening, early detection and prevention services
